Sighs, hisses as Mikel wins MVP

Chelsea boy, Mikel Obi came out from a floppy play against debutantes Iran to emerge the Most Valuable Player of the night but the award did not go down well with the horde of World Journalists who covered the game.
The FIFA official who announced the award that was greeted with sighs and hisses explained that the award was voted by fans. Previously, it was Journalists who covered matches that voted for the MVP but this time, fans picked Mikel for the award.ubani-2014
Speaking after collecting the award, Mikel admitted that the Eagles were equally disappointed for not winning the match but attributed that to the packing of the defense by the Iranians’ Team Melli.
‘’The Iranians had good knowledge of what they wanted to do. They packed buses in the defense and we pushed them hard. They didn't come out to play. It was so frustrating trying to break them”, he said.
However, he said that the Eagles would go back to training to map out a strategy that would be more rewarding in the matches against Bosnia Herzegovina and Argentina.
Bosnia lost its first match 2 -1 against Argentina but were the better team as they rattled Messi and their glut of stars endlessly.
