Former Nigeria internationals, Nwankwo Kanu and Peterside Idah have predicted that the national team campaigning in the FIFA World Cup will, for the first time get to the semi-final of the tournament.

“Yes, I love it! Do I think I will be here for the whole tournament? I would say yes, because we are going to get to the semi-finals of course.”
On his part, Peterside Idah who is a football pundit with cable network, Supersport said, “the Eagles will get to the semi-final.
They will surpass all expectations but I don’t see them winning the semi final match. If it happens that they win in the semi final, then they will be good enough for the trophy.
