Eagles played a barren draw with Iran on Monday, a result that has not helped their bid to reach the second round.
Speaking from Brazil yesterday, some of TAN’s ‘Fly Me To Brazil’ winners stated that hope was not lost despite the draw with Iran.

Solomon Onu said that the Eagles have the potential to do well in Brazil and called on Nigerians to continue to support the team.
“The draw may be a big setback for the Eagles but I am sure that the team still have the chance to qualifier,” stated Onu.
Another winner, Ashiru Kehinde stated that the draw was a temporary setback, predicting a better game against Bosnia-Herzegovina.
“The beautiful thing about football is that no two games are the same. Some people might think that Bosnia will beat the Eagles, but football is not mathematics.I believe Bosnia will also be under pressure since they are yet to record a point. My advice to Nigerians is to give their total support to the team despite this minor setback,” added.
